What is Goop Quest?
Goop Quest is an online gameshow where contestants test themselves in a series of mental and physical challenges in an attempt to beat the 'Quest' in order to become an acclaimed 'Quest Champion'.
If contestants fail to beat any of the challenges making up the quest, they will face the 'Goop' as a consequence. Our 'Goop' is a sticky gungey substance that will either fall onto our contestant from above in our gungetank games, or our contestant will be dropped into our Goop Vat from above...
Either way, no one has ever beaten the Quest...
What is the goop made of?
We can't tell you our exact formula as it is a trade secret but we can tell you that it is mainly derived from food sources.
The base of our goop is industrialised food thickener with a blend of some slimy additions and child safe colouring.
Our goop doesn't taste particularly nice if it gets into your mouth but is perfectly safe due to what it is made from. Our colouring is also designed not to stain clothes, skin, or objects too (but sometimes accidents happen so we always advise to wear old clothes and cover any fabric items prior to using our goop).
How do I mix your Goop?
First of all, a massive congratulations on purchasing what is the best gunge on the web! (We could be biased but we think it's the best). You can also access mixing instructions via the url or QR code on your gunge packet.
Our goop is easily mixed with just 10 litres of warm water, 1 bucket and either your arm, a whisk or an electric paddle mixer (you have the option of the last 3)!
Simply fill the bucket with 10 litres of hot (not boiling) water;
Start stirring the water round and round with whatever method you have chosen;
Sprinkle our gunge powder into the swirling water (be sure to keep mixing whilst sprinkling!);
Continue stirring for around 3-4 minutes (or until the water has thickened to consistency);
Leave the bucket to one side for 20-30 minutes to allow the contents to cool off and thicken slightly (this bit is optional but we suggest it)!

I want to book a private experience - where are you?
We don't give our exact location away until you have booked - for many reasons! Upon booking you will receive a welcome pack full of information about the experience, where to go, who to contact, what you'll need to bring etc...
We can however give you a generic location, and we are based in a small town called Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, UK
We are accessible by car, train and bus (with plenty of free parking available if you choose to drive). We do also offer a free shuttle service from one of our three nominated train stations, or from one of our two nominated bus stations. If you wish to make use of our shuttle service, please do book this well in advance (ideally at the time of booking) - just shoot us a message via our contact form.
Can you supply large quantities of gunge powder?
Yes! (and sometimes do)
We have numerous packs up on our store, ranging from a single 10 litre pack, a 50 litre pack, a 100 litre pack and a 200 litre pack.
We are a proud supplier of a growing number of producers, charities and event organisers ranging from individuals to large multi national companies (you might have even seen our gunge on TV!)
We typically carry thousands of litres in stock at any one time so we are typically able to dispatch in relatively quick timeframes to worldwide destinations.
Need up to 500 litres? We would encourage you to purchase multiple packs from the store, however if you need more than 500 litres, please contact us via our contact form and a member of the team will be in touch!
Can I take on the Quest?
Yes.
We have a number of ways to do this and offer a number of tiers for those wishing to take on the quest themselves. Check out the 'Book' page for more information.
What's the difference in your powder thickness?
We offer our gunge powder in Standard, Thick and Extra Thick options.
Standard will give more of a 'slime' effect and will create a 'splash' effect when dropped. This is similar, and slightly thicker than a soup consistency.
Thick is our most popular option and is more of a 'gunge' than a 'slime', and will splash a little but offer more coverage than our standard option. This is more like a thick custard consistency.
Extra Thick is a 'heavy' mix and will gloop when dropped and offer minimal splashing. This will offer a 'cling' effect and slowly ooze down when dropped. This is more like a wet cake frosting consistency.
Can I bring a friend along?
We are fairly restricted for space here at GoopQuest as our vat takes up a lot of space.
We are able to host two player sessions (if you want to split the cost with someone) however this is the maximum we are able to permit for safety reasons.
If you want to bring a friend along to get gunged and they refuse, we will be unable to offer any refunds.
Can I have my experience filmed?
We don't generally permit personal camera or recording equipment into our gunge room (including phones), however, you may ask for us to take some photos of your experience whilst you take part for us to send over to you after your experience.
We are sadly unable to film and we also prohibit the use of any media taken on a private experience to be used for financial gain. We do however encourage use of media for personal use (such as posting on any profiles you may have / sharing with friends etc).
I'm looking a buying in bulk - Can I store your gunge powder?
The great news is that you absolutely can! Our powder is supplied in sealed bags and can be stored for a number of years in a cool, dry place. We advise that our gunge powder isn't stored for any longer than 3 years though.
Once mixed, our gunge is safe for use for around 4-5 days.
